    Here’s an embarrassing question that I’m sure at least a few people are wondering about – should a woman cancel her massage appointment if she gets her period?

      I would say if you feel uncomfortable having a massage then yes, cancel or reschedule. If you are comfortable with being worked on or planning to have just a wellness massage and not anything that will address anything specific around your pelvic area, it’s okay to wear a pair of spandex shorts or something that will still allow your therapist access to your skin and muscles. When I was in school, I kept a pair of shorts in my locker in case that happened and no one noticed anything.
