About the School

Enrolling at the Boston Cortiva campus not only ensures you a well-balanced, comprehensive education in massage therapy, but also a network of support from a national community of professionals upon graduation. With advantages like learning from professional practitioners, and help with career placement upon graduation, it is clear to see why Cortiva is leading the way in massage therapy education.

Always committed to high standards in education, the Cortiva Boston campus moved into a newly renovated facility just a few short years ago, to better accommodate their students and program. The updated campus includes three floors with eight classrooms, a student lounge area, library, bookstore, faculty and administration offices, and a therapy center with a reception area for incoming clients.

The Boston Cortiva campus offers the Professional Massage Therapy diploma, which consists of 750 class work hours that can be completed in either 9 or 12 months. The program includes training in the areas of the science of the human body (classes like anatomy and physiology, and pathology) the theory and technique of different massage therapy modalities (Swedish massage, sports massage, deep tissue massage and hydrotherapy to name a few), and business development (ethics, communication, etc.).

With such in-depth education and a strong network of support, you would be hard-pressed to find a better place to train for a career in massage therapy. If you’re interested not only in a comprehensive education, but also a support system upon graduation and the opportunity for continuing education in the future, the Boston Cortiva campus has the program for you.
