About the School
As a leader in massage therapy training and education, the Cortiva Institute is always trying to expand its resources and offer more options for both its prospective and continuing education students. The Cortiva Federal Way campus, located just south of Seattle in Washington State, is a prime example. The newest Cortiva campus, the Federal Way school offers the same high level of education, supportive community of faculty and support staff, and training resources in a new, convenient location.
The Cortiva Federal Way campus has spacious classrooms that allow for comfortable hands-on learning, a library with multimedia learning aids, a massage therapy center, and a student computer workroom. To add to these student amenities, the campus is in an easy to reach central location in downtown Federal Way near shops, dining and The Commons at Federal Way.
Just like at the other Cortiva Institute locations, the Cortiva Federal Way campus is focused solely on massage therapy programs; this Cortiva school offers two degree options. The first is a diploma in Professional Massage Therapy, which requires 750 hours of class work and can be completed in nine months. The second program, titled the Extended Professional Massage Therapy Diploma, can be achieved with 1000 hours of class work, and takes between 12 and 15 months to complete.
Regardless of the program you choose to pursue, you can be confident that the education you receive from the Cortiva Institute will thoroughly prepare you to be a licensed and experienced massage therapy professional. With a diploma from the Cortiva Federal Way campus, you can choose from a variety of massage environments to work in, and find the career path that truly suits you.
