With an enduring commitment to educating massage therapists, Cortiva provides thorough, well-balanced training, educational tools and resources, and staff and faculty support to all of its massage therapy students.
The Cortiva Seattle campus houses six generously proportioned classrooms outfitted with equipment like massage tables and bolsters. The campus also has a student lounge, a library with multimedia learning aids, a massage therapy center with private clinic rooms, and a student computer workroom.
This particular Cortiva massage school offers two diploma programs. The first is the Professional Massage Therapy Program that requires 750 hours of training to be completed in 9 months. The second is the Extended Professional Massage Therapy Program which consists of 1000 course hours and can be completed in 12 or 15 months. The Extended Professional Massage Therapy Program builds on the Professional Massage Therapy program, allowing interested graduates to better prepared for a broader range of massage career options. Both programs offer a balance of theoretical and practical training of massage techniques, classes on the science of the human body, and business and communication courses to ensure each program graduate is trained in all aspects of a career in massage therapy.
Indeed, whether you are interested in working in a medical setting like a hospital, clinic, or doctor’s office, or massage environment like a spa or wellness center, a degree from the Cortiva Seattle campus will prepare you for the professional path of your choice.
