About the School
What sets the Cortiva Institute apart from other massage therapy programs is that as an institution, it focuses solely on massage therapy. Therefore you can be confident that the school’s entire resources go towards developing and maintaining a massage therapy diploma program designed to best prepare you for a career as a professional massage therapist.
The Cortiva Woodridge campus has multiple spacious classrooms, a student lounge area, as well as a student clinic for real-world learning experience. Joined by the Chicago campus (also referred to as the Loop Campus) and the Crystal Lake campus, the Cortiva Institute has a strong presence in the Chicago metro area. All of these Cortiva campuses offer the Professional Therapy Massage Diploma, a 750 hour program that can be completed in 12 to15 months, depending on the class schedule you choose. Class options are flexible, and focus on three major areas of study. The program requires courses in the science of the human body, massage therapy theory and practice, and professional development.
Whether you are interested in working in a spa setting, or a more clinical workplace like a hospital or a doctor’s office, the training and experience that can be found at the Cortiva Woodridge campus will help you get there. The diploma program is structured to prepare students not only for applicable licensing exams, but also for a number of massage environments.
If you’re interested in obtaining the balance of science, ethics and massage techniques necessary to truly be successful as a well-rounded professional massage therapist, the Cortiva Institute is the school for you.
