From the moment you enroll until the day you graduate and beyond, our faculty members and administrative staff will do everything they can to put you on the road to career success. It’s just one of the reasons why Soma’s job placement rate, as reported in 2011 to the Illinois State Board of Education, has reached 96%. The Soma Institute, however, cannot guarantee placement. Our support programs are free of charge, and they include:

  • Academic Tutoring
  • Counseling Referral Services
  • Lifetime Massage Therapy Treatments in the Student Teaching Clinic
  • Career Preparation and Job Placement
  • Podcast Library of Lecture Classes
  • Payment of Initial Licensing Fees for Massage Licensure in the State of Illinois
  • Financial Aid for those who Qualify


The Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency.
