Successful completion of a massage therapy program consisting of at least 500 hours of course and clinical work from an approved massage therapy educational school. Passing one of the following examinations: The massage and bodywork licensing examination offered by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards; or a national certification examination offered by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork.
