North Carolina Massage Therapy Requirements

Successful completetion a course of study from a board approved school in massage and bodywork therapy consisting of a minimum of 500 in-class hours of supervised instruction. Passage of the National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork, the National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage, the Massage & Bodywork Licensing Examination, or the Oriental Bodywork Therapy Examination.
